Nos autoportraits (2016)

Workshops in CHLSD for 2 dancers - 60 minutes

Nos autoportraits is a workshop geared towards autonomous individuals residing in long-term care facilities (CHSLD) who, during the workshop, will share pictures of their youth before recreating the same body positions as the pictures to get in touch with their sensations and expressivity. This is then reaffirmed by a choreography created in relationship with a computer program that projects the pictures on a screen in a format where the real person and their image can melt into one another. Pictures are continuously shot, and each new image makes the old ones disappear, like recent memories progressively erase old souvenirs.
