LOOPER

Stage performance for two performers - 40 minutes - 150 spectateurs

Created in collaboration with circus artist Elena Lev, “Looper” is a meditation on presence, skill, time and play.

For 30 years, Elena has been performing the original hula hoop act that she created at 11 years old. It has happened on many stages and in many different contexts around the world, but always in the form of a 5-7 minute number - an experience which she describes as an ‘explosion’. Together we have been exploring what might change if she had more time.
